Here are some of the questions we’re most often asked by touring and camping guests at Briarfields. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Who can stay at Briarfields?

Briarfields is an adults-only touring and camper site — all guests and visitors must be aged 18 or over.

What kinds of pitches do you have?

You can choose from:

  • Hard-standing pitches inclusive of 10 amp electric.
  • Fully serviced touring pitches: level hard-standing with fresh water and waste water inclusive of 10amp electric.

What services and hook-ups are available?

On the touring & camping area you’ll have:

  • 10 amp electric hook-up.
  • Free WiFi across the park.
  • Modern, heated washrooms, including a disabled wet room.
  • For fully-serviced pitches: fresh water & waste water on the pitch.

What are the arrival and departure times?

  • Arrival from 1:00 pm
  • The park reception is usually open 10:00 am – 5:30 pm; if arriving between 5:30pm and 7:00pm please contact the park for the late-arrival process
  • Departure by 11:00 am

Is the park open all year?

  • Yes Briarfields is open all year round, making it suitable for stays in all seasons.

Are dogs allowed on site?

  • Yes – the park is dog-friendly, and well-behaved dogs are welcome. For example, the enclosed dog area “Dorothy’s Field” is part of the park offering safe off-lead time.

What on-site facilities do you have?

Touring and camping guests have access to:

  • Modern, heated washrooms with private cubicles, accessible wet-room.
  • Laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board.
  • Secure, fully enclosed dog exercise field (Dorothy’s Field).
  • Free WiFi across the park.
  • Off-road cycle paths and excellent public transport links (bus stop outside directly to Cheltenham & Gloucester).

How do I book and what about payments & cancellations?

  • A 20% deposit is required for bookings, with the balance due at least 28 days prior to arrival.
  • Note: deposits are strictly non-refundable unless covered by the park’s Cancellation Cover.
  • Stay-length minimums and tariffs vary (see the Touring Tariffs page).
